Our FACILITY
Our programs are held at the Bell Aliant Centre, on the UPEI Campus in beautiful Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. A comprehensive recreational facility. It features 2 NHL-sized ice surfaces, meeting rooms, a lounge, complete dressing rooms, and facilities for competitive bouts. It also has an Aquatics Facility with a 25-metre, eight-lane recreational and competitive pool. It covers over 160,000 square feet and has hosted many events.
Our STAFF
Founder Allan Andrews, has always believed the first requirement for hiring a new Andrews Hockey staff member is that they can serve as everyday role models in interactions with our students and their greater community. Then, we choose hockey-loving leaders dedicated to providing their best every day in our students’ instruction, teaching, and assessment.
Our METHODS
Over 45 years of continual research, improvement and experience with hockey players from around the globe is translated into the teaching of every drill, lesson, and exercise. Through scientifically researched on-ice programs, professionally developed off-ice training and well balanced classroom sessions on topics such as nutrition and goal-setting, we strive to stress the importance of healthy living and personal excellence.
