“I really enjoy the Andrews Showcase each summer. It provides a chance to see a lot of players in person that I am unable to during the season as often as I would like. Being able to interact with them on ice and then in the NCAA / U Sport seminar is the best part. Being able to dispel myths and provide accurate information is great and Andrews provides an avenue for that.”

Chris Ardito

Women’s Hockey Coach, Union College

“I love coming to PEI to recruit for our program and learn new ways on how to teach the game. The talent level is always very high, and the on-ice instruction is always at the cutting edge of what is going on in the hockey world.”

Ben Guite

Men’s Hockey Head Coach, Bowdoin College

I was happy to attend the Andrews Hockey International Showcase is Charlottetown this year. Coming from Shawnigan Lake School in British Columbia, it was a pleasant surprise to see the level of players, coaches and staff at the showcase. It was well organized, competitive, instructional for the players and showcased the abilities of the players well throughout the week. Each day the games became competitive, with an increase in performance and chemistry amongst the players. We hope to develop a strong relationship with Andrews Hockey, as we see the great job they are doing win developing and showcasing the talent in the Maritimes.

James Gaertner

Head Coach U17-Prep, Assistant Coach U18-Prep Shawnigan Lake School

“In my opinion Andrew’s Growth Programs is the gold standard for player skill development. Their track record for helping produce and showcase elite talent second to none.”

Greg McConnell

Bishop’s College School

“The Andrew’s International Hockey Showcase is one of the best opportunities for parents, student-athletes, and independent schools to connect with each other to discuss the benefits of a Prep school experience. RNS is excited to attend the Andrew’s International Showcase each summer as this event is a staple in our recruiting calendar. Alan, Josh & the Andrew’s staff do a fantastic job organizing and executing this world class event. It gives independent school representatives an opportunity to present to student-athletes and parents about the benefits of their unique school. As a coach, it allows us to recruit from the bleachers as well as stand in the bench during games to get to know the athletes on a personal level. Student-athletes receive an abundance of pertinent hockey information and hockey development both on and off the ice during this camp. RNS has a rich history of meeting mission appropriate student-athletes and top prep hockey players at this showcase, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with the Andrew’s family and International showcase for many years.”

As a coach and director at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame, recruiting at The Andrew’s International Hockey Showcase has been the Gold Standard for the Athol Murray College of Notre Dame. Allan and Josh Andrews, and their terrific staff, create a special environment of hosting elite skilled players within their curriculum of skills practices and the games throughout the weekend.

The International Hockey Showcase has always been a staple in our recruiting schedule. The event is extremely professional and the staff with Andrew’s Hockey is second to none. It is a great opportunity for hockey players and their families to gain information and ultimately leave the event with a better understanding of the hockey landscape and what options are available to them.

Working for the Cape Breton Eagles of the QMJHL, I attend numerous hockey showcases throughout the years, but the Andrews International Hockey Showcase stands out as a premier event for discovering top-tier talent. This showcase is impeccably organized and provides a unique platform for young athletes to display their skills against high-caliber competition from around the world. The showcase attracts a diverse group of athletes, providing a comprehensive view of emerging talent. It’s a valuable opportunity for scouts like me to evaluate players in a competitive yet supportive environment.

One of the standout features of the Andrews Showcase is its commitment to player development. The event includes not only games but also skills sessions and seminars that focus on improving various aspects of the players’ games. This holistic approach ensures that the athletes are not only showcasing their current abilities but are also receiving the tools and knowledge to continue their development.

Overall, the Andrews International Hockey Showcase is an essential event on the scouting calendar. It consistently delivers high-quality hockey, well-organized logistics, and a player-centric approach that makes it a standout showcase for discovering the next generation of hockey talent. I highly recommend it to fellow scouts and anyone involved in player development.
