WHAT IS YOUR TESTING SYSTEM & HOW CAN I VIEW TESTING RESULTS?

Our testing system is a scientifically researched and developed system that allows us to track player’s progress from year to year and identify potential demonstrators. During the course of the week, players are tested for on-ice skating and on-ice puck skills. On the ice, our Head Instructors evaluate all components of a player’s skating and puck skills based on a set of specific criteria. Every score a player receives on a specific skill is a score out of 10. Our testing system is a progressive system in which players can work their way up to their Gold Skate and Gold Stick. The progression up to this level includes Bronze and Silver Awards. In order to receive a Bronze Award, a player must receive a score of at least 3 on all Bronze Skills. Once a player has achieved this award he/she will be tested for Silver Skills and can achieve a Silver Award if scores of all 6’s are achieved. Once a player has achieved their Silver Award they will be tested for Gold in which they must receive a score of all 10’s in order to achieve their Gold Award.

Testing results can be found within your account, select your player name, and you will see Puck Skills (select the + symbol for testing and results) & Skating Skills (select the + symbol for testing and results). Please allow up to 2 weeks for the testing results to be noted in your account.
